SLPTG AWARDS DINNER 2011

The SLPTG Awards Dinner was held on Thursday 15 December at Bircham Newton, Norfolk and this was another successful evening enjoyed by all who attended

There were 8 LC and 5 SJ apprentices receiving certificates and awards and this is another year with 100% success rate

Luke Westwick of Sentinel was presented with the "Boris" trophy for Academic Achievement (Functional Skills) and Simon Aikenhead of Delta was presented with the Sam Rafferty Award for Best All Rounder

The following apprentices won these awards:
Matthew Mckenna of P.C Richardson won the Walter Bacon Merit Award for Highest Marks for S/J Laddering
John Donnelly of P.C Richardson won the Dr.Short Award for Most Improved Apprentice
Peter Nuthall of Raffertys wo the Bert Bird Award for the Best S/J NVQ Portfolio
Stuart Roy of Zenith won the Graham Farn Safety Award for the Higest Attention to Safety
Peter Nuthall of Raffertys won the Ted Fuller Award for the Highest Achiever over all Disciplines
Aaron Buksh of Omega Red won the Paul Manning Award for the L/C Personality
Scott Roberts of Best won the Omega Red Group Award for the Best L/C NVQ Portfolio
Aaron Buksh of Omega Red won the Erico Award for the Best Practical Application
Lewis Knowler of Omega Red won the W.J. Furse Award for the Best Technical Application
Simon Cooper of Thor won the A.W.Elliot Award for the Highest Achiever over all Disciplines
